The title compound was prepared following the procedure described in Step 1 for the synthesis of 2a using 4-trifluoromethylaniline instead of aniline. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ (ppm): 1.26 (3H, t, J=7.14 Hz), 4.22 (2H, q, J=7.14 Hz), 7.80 (1H, d, J=9.34 Hz), 8.00 (m), 8.39 (1H, s), 8.64 (1H, s). m/z 286.5 (MH+).
