Методика

The same reaction and after-treatment using 81.1 g (0.46 mole) of p-tert-butoxystyrene and 4.6 g (0.04 mole) of styrene as described in Production Example 4-(1) were conducted to give 80.5 g of poly(p-tert-butoxystyrene/styrene) as white powders. Then, the polymer was subjected to the same reaction and after-treatment as described in Production Example 9-(1) to give 44.0 g of poly(p-hydroxystyrene/styrene) as white powders. A ratio of p-hydroxystyrene unit and styrene unit was about 92:8 by 1HNMR. Mw: about 15500, Mw/Mn: 1.08 (GPC method: polystyrene as standard).
