Методика

A.solution of 2-ethoxycarbonylimino-3-(3-tri-fluoromethylphenyl)-5-bromomethylthiazolidine (0.7 g) and potassium t-butoxide (0.25 g) in t-butanol (30 ml) was refluxed for 5 hours, and the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure. The residue was extracted with chloroform (100 ml), washed with water and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate. After removal of the solvent, the residue was subjected to column chromatography to give 0.25 g of 2-ethoxycarbonylimino-3-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-5-methylenethiazolidine (Compound (i)).
