Методика

A mixture of methanesulfonic acid 1,4-dioxa-spiro[4.5]dec-8-yl ester (2.80 g, 11.9 mmol) and sodium azide (3.86 g, 59.3 mmol) in 50 mL of dry DMF is stirred for 20 h at 100° C. under nitrogen. The final mixture is cooled to room temperature diluted with brine and extracted with three portions of ether. The organic portions are combined, dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated to give 8-azido-1,4-dioxa-spiro[4.5]decane.
