실험 절차

Following the procedure set forth in Example 1, 43 g. of 1,5-dimethyl-4-n-propyl-4-(3-methoxyphenyl)-piperidine was reacted with 276 g. of mercuric acetate in 717 ml. of five percent aqueous acetic acid to provide, after purification by distillation, 30.2 g. of 1,5-dimethyl-4-n-propyl-4-(3-methoxyphenyl)-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridine. B.P. 126°-138° C. at 0.15 torr.
