실험 절차

11.6 g of 1-benzyl-3(R,S)-hydroxymethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline (Example 29e), 8.54 g of tert-butyldimethylchlorosilane and 4.05 g of imidazole are stirred in 120 ml of methylene chloride at room temperature for 20 h. The precipitate is then filtered off and the crude product obtained after concentration of the filtrate is purified over 900 g of silica gel (mobile phase Z). 16 g of the title compound are obtained as a yellowish oil: Rf (Z)=0.66.
