실험 절차

To a solution of 1-bromo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2-naphthol (6.81 g) and triethylamine (4.2 ml) in dichloromethane (60 ml) was added 2-methylbenzoyl chloride (4.62 g) dropwise with ice-cooling. The mixture was stirred under ice cooling for 1 hour, after which it was washed with water and dried (MgSO4). The solvent was then distilled off to give 1-bromo-2-(2-methylbenzoyloxy)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalene as oil in quantitative yield.
