Equimolar amounts of 1-benzenesulfonyl-1-cyano-2,2-bis(methylthio)ethylene [prepared according to the procedure described by M. Augustin et al., Z. Chem., 17, 289 (1977)] and 2-[(4-methyl-1H-imidazol-5-yl)methylthio]ethylamine [prepared according to the procedure described in U.S. Pat. No. 3,950,353] are reacted according to the general procedure of Example 6A, and the title product is produced.
