실험 절차

1 g. of 3-(2',4'-difluoro-4-biphenylyl)-3-hydroxybutyric acid is dissolved in 5 ml. of acetic acid. 1 ml. of concentrated hydrochloric acid is added and the mixture is allowed to stand for 2 hours at 20° and poured onto ice. After the customary work up, 3-(2',4'-difluoro-4-biphenylyl)-2-butenoic acid, m.p. 193-195°, is obtained.
