실험 절차

Add zinc (8.46 g, 129.4 mmoles) to (R)-4-[(1R,2S)-1-Hydroxy-2-nitro-3-(3-trifluoromethoxy-phenyl)-propyl]-2,2-dimethyl-oxazolidine-3-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (6.01 g, 12.9 mmoles) in acetic acid (75 mL) and stir at room temperature for 10 minutes. Filter and wash the solids with water. Extract with ethyl acetate. Wash organic layer with 0.1 N sodium hydroxide and saturated aqueous sodium chloride. Dry over sodium sulfate, filter and concentrate to give 5.18 g (92% yield) of the title compound as a white solid.
