실험 절차

5 ml of methanol was placed in an autoclave and cooled to −15° C., and ammonia gas was fed until methanol was saturated with the gas, to thereby prepare a solution of about 7 M ammonia in methanol. Trifluoromethionine methyl ester (50.4 mg, 0.199 mmol) was dissolved in methanol, and the solution was added to the solution of ammonia in methanol. The tube was sealed, and the mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 10 hours. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure, and recrystallization was performed with water, thereby 35.8 mg (89%) of trifluoromethionine amide(the general formula (II)) was obtained.
