실험 절차

In a 100 ml three-necked round bottomed flask is placed 1.0 g. of N-(4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenz[b] thien-4-yl) acetamide, 5 ml each of H2O and glacial acetic acid, and 5.13 g. of solid cobaltic acetate (assay 23.56% Co(III) by weight) prepared by method of Example V). The mixture is stirred and heated to 60° C. for 11 hours under a nitrogen atmosphere. Treatment as in Example V yields 1.04 g. of material containing 79.6% of the desired product.
