실험 절차

The S-atenolol having an optical purity of 96.5% ee (10.77 g) thus obtained and p-toluic acid (5.54 g) are dissolved in acetone (1 liter) by heating with stirring and the mixture is stirred at room temperature for 10 hours. The precipitated crystals are separated by filtration and the filtrate is concentrated under reduced pressure to give S-atenolol p-toluate having an optical purity of 98.5% ee (14.47 g).
