This compound was made in 65% yield by the same procedure as 2-Isopropyl-3,6-dimethoxy-5-(3,3,3-trifluoro-propyl)-2,5-dihydro-pyrazine, substituting 1-Iodo-3,3,3-trifluoropropane with 2-(2-Bromoethoxy)-1,1,1-trifluoroethane. 1H-NMR: 400 MHz, (CDCl3) δ: 4.11-4.05 (m, 1H), 3.95 (t, J=3.5 Hz, 1H), 3.86-3.75 (m, 3H), 3.74-3.66 (m, 7H), 2.30-2.18 (m, 2H), 1.92-1.82 (m, 1H), 1.03 (d, J=6.9 Hz, 3H), 0.70 (d, J=6.8 Hz, 3H) ppm.
