실험 절차

To a solution of (S)-methyl 2-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-3-(2,2-difluorobenzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)propanoate (1850 mg, 5 mmol) in 50 mL of THF at 0° C. was added LiOH (0.2 M, 26 ml, 5 mmol) over 10 minutes. The reaction was stirred for 2 hours and was then washed with ether (200 mL), acidified to pH 4 with 2 N HCl and extracted with ethyl acetate (4×100 mL). The organics were washed with water and brine and dried over sodium sulfate. Concentration provided (S)-2-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-3-(2,2-difluorobenzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)propanoic acid (1.75 g, 98% yield) as a colorless oil.
