Obtained by a procedure analogous to that indicated in Example 1 (b), from 2-(3-chloro-2-methylphenyl-imino)-4-(4-chloro-3-dimethylsulfamoylphenyl)-3-methylthiazolidin-4-ol hydrobromide, by heating under reflux for 20 minutes in glacial acetic acid or by heating at 110° C. in propionic acid for 45 minutes. Colorless crystals; melting point 226°-228° C. (with decomposition).
