実験手順

A mixture of 5-bromo-2,3-dihydroinden-1-one (47.1) (23.7 mmol) and NaBH4 (47.4 mmol) in EtOH (50 mL) was stirred at 60° C. for 6 minutes. After evaporation of the solvent, the residue was purified by chromatography (silica gel; 1:2 EtOAc/hexane) providing compound 47.2 in 100% yield. MS ESI (pos.) M/E: 195.0, 197.1 (M+H—H2O).
