2-[4-(2-Diethylamino-ethoxy)-benzyl]-2-(4-methoxy-benzenesulfonyl)-hexanoic acid ethyl ester was prepared according to the general method as outlined in example 12. Starting from 2-(4-methoxy-benzenesulfonyl)-hexanoic acid ethyl ester (4 g, 12.7 mmol) and [2-(4-chloromethyl-phenoxy)-ethyl]-diethylamine (3.38 g, 14 mmol). Yield 8.21 g crude (100%); brown oil; MS: 520.4 (M+H)+.
