A solution of [4-(1-ethyl-4-{2-[4-(4-morpholinylmethyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-4-yl}-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)phenyl]amine (0.104 mmol) in N,N-dimethylformamide (1 mL) was treated with diisopropylethylamine (0.4 mmol) and then pentafluorophenyl-N,N-dimethylglycinate (0.104 mmol). The reaction was stirred 18 h and purified directly on the Gilson reverse phase HPLC which provided the title product as a yellow solid (57%). ESMS [M+H]+: 564.2
