2-(3-Dimethylaminopropoxy)benzaldehyde (32.5 g) is reacted with 11.5 g of n-butylamine in 150 ml of toluene as described in Example 1 to give 37.9 g of oily product; boiling point 124°-128° C./0.1-0.2 mm of Hg.
