実験手順

In the same apparatus and procedures as Example 1, 0.9 g (0.007 mol) of aluminum chloride and 37 g (0.349 mol) of p-xylene were reacted with 10 g (0.07 mol) of allyldichlorosilane at 0° C. for 1.5 hrs. Vacuum distillation of the solution gave 9.1 g (81%) of 3-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)-1,1-dichloro-1-silabutane (boiling point: 86°-9° C./0.6 mmHg).
