2-[4-(2-Diethylaminoethoxy)benzyl]-2-(4-methoxy-benzenesulfonyl)hexanoic acid ethyl ester was prepared according to the general method as outlined in example 12. Starting from 2-(4-methoxy-benzenesulfonyl)hexanoic acid ethyl ester (4 g, 12.7 mmol) and (2-(4-chloromethyl-phenoxy)ethyl]diethylamine (3.38 g, 14 mmol). Yield 8.21 g crude (100%); brown oil; MS: 520.4 (M+H)+.
