Mode opératoire

An aqueous solution (1 ml) of sodium hydroxide (9.6 mg) was added to a methanol (1 ml) solution of the methyl 4-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylate (30 mg) obtained in (Example 2.2) <Step 1>, and the obtained mixture was then heated to reflux for 15 minutes. Thereafter, the solvent was distilled away under reduced pressure, and the residue was then subjected to azeotropy with toluene, so as to obtain a crude product of the title compound.
