Mode opératoire

A mixture of 30 (0.044 g, 0.11 mmol) and sodium azide (0.007 g, 0.11 mmol) in dry N,N-dimethylformamide (0.5 mL) was heated to 50° C. for 45 minutes. The reaction mixture was diluted with water and the resulting mixture extracted with ethyl acetate. The combined organic layers were washed with brine, dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered and evaporated. The residue so obtained was dried under high vacuum to furnish the desired compound. Yield: 76%.
