Mode opératoire

3.65 g of (±)-3,4-bis-cyclopropylmethoxy-N-[(1RS,2RS,5SR)-2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-5-hydroxycyclohexyl]benzamide (compound B2) are dissolved in 50 ml of acetic anhydride and the solution is heated to 100° C. for 3 h. The solution is concentrated and the residue is chromatographed on silica gel using a mixture of petroleum ether/ethyl acetate/triethylamine in the ratio 6/3/1. 1.8 g of the title compound of m.p. 90-95° C. are obtained.
