Mode opératoire

A solution of 3-Benzyl-imidazolidine-1,5-dicarboxylic acid 1-tert-butyl ester 5-methyl ester (1.0 g, 3.12 mmol) in MeOH (20 mL) was added Pd/C (0.20 g) and stirred at room temperature under H2 for two hours. The reaction mixture was filtered through celite. The filtrate was concentrated to afford Imidazolidine-1,5-dicarboxylic acid 1-tert-butyl ester 5-methyl ester (0.72 g, xx % yield) which was used for the next step directly.
