Mode opératoire

To a solution of 1-benzyl-2-methyl-5-nitro-1H-indole-3-carboxylic acid, 3,4-difluorobenzylamide (Compound 45, 97 mg, 0.22 mmol) in MeOH (20 ml) and EtOAc (20 ml) was added Pd—C (10%, 47 mg, 0.045 mmol). The reaction was stirred under hydrogen for 24 h, filtered through Celite, washed with MeOH-EtOAc (1:1) to yield 5-amino-1-benzyl-2-methyl-1H-indole-3-carboxylic acid, 3,4-difluorobenzylamide (Compound 46) as a white solid (93 mg, 100%).
