Mode opératoire

A solution of 2-(4-ethylthio-3-methylpyrid-2-yl)-thiazolo[3,2-a]benzimidazole (0.01 mole) is dissolved in CH2Cl2 solution (100 ml) at 0° C. and treated with m-chloroperoxybenzoic acid (0.01 mole) for 0.5 hours. The solution is then washed with sodium carbonate solution and dried (MgSO4). Purification by chromatography on silica gives the title compound.
