Mode opératoire

To a solution of 22.5 mg (0.043 mmol) of 3-(1(S)-(4-chlorobenzyl)-2(S)-((1-(4-bromophenyl)-2-cyano-2-methylpropyl)amino)propyl)benzonitrile in 0.5 mL of N-methyl-pyrrolidone, 12 mg (0.173 mmol) of 1,2,4-triazole, 2.3 mg of CuI and 24 mg of K2CO3 were added. The mixture was heated in a microwave reactor at 195° C. for 4 hr. The reaction was diluted with ether, washed with water, brine, dried and concentrated. The residue was purified by prep TLC using 50% EtOAc-hexane to isolate the title compound.
