Procedimiento

To an argon-degassed solution of 5.13 g (13.64 mmol) 2-(2,4-dinitro-phenyl)-3,3,3-trifluoro-2-trifluoromethyl-propionic acid methyl ester in 300 ml EtOH was added 0.5 g of 10% by weight Pd/C. The reaction was stirred under H2 overnight and filtered through Celite®, concentrated down, and dried under vacuum, yielding the titled compound.
