Procedimiento

The title compound was prepared from cyclopenten-1-aldehyde (1 equiv.) and diethyl 2-acetamidomalonate using the procedure by Chung et al (J. Org. Chem. 1990, 55, 270). MS (ESI) 298 (M+H).
