Procedimiento

Following the procedure as described in Example 11, making variations only as required to use 4-phenylbutanoic acid in place of 5-phenylpentanoic acid to react with 2-amino-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylic acid benzylamide, the title compound was obtained as a white solid in 47% yield; m.p. 45-46° C.; 1H NMR (CDCl3, 300 MHz) δ 11.13 (s, br, 1H), 7.35-7.09 (m, 10H), 6.24 (t, J=5.0 Hz, 1H), 4.59 (d, J=5.6 Hz, 2H), 2.63 (t, J=7.5 Hz, 2H), 2.52 (s, 3H), 2.41 (t, J=7.5 Hz, 2H), 2.00 (q, J=7.5 Hz, 2H); MS (ES+) m/z 397.5 (M+1).
