Procedimiento

To a solution of 0.484 g (2.91 mmol) of the product of Step F dissolved in 12 mL of acetone were added 0.667 g (2.91 mmol) of methyl 2-bromophenylacetate, 0.804 g (5.82 mmol) of anhydrous K2CO3 and the mixture was stirred and heated at reflux for 5 hours. The mixture was then cooled, filtered and evaporated in vacuo. The residual oil was purified on a silica gel flash chromatography column eluted with 30% ethyl acetate/hexane to afford 0.756 g (83%) of the title compound.
