Procedimiento

To a cooled (0° C.) solution of EXAMPLE 168A (880 mg) in tetrahydrofuran (10 mL) and dichloromethane (2 ml) and triethylamine (2 ml) was added, followed by the addition of trifluoroacetic anhydride (2 ml) dropwise. After the addition, the mixture was stirred for 3 hours at 0° C. After this time the mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate (200 mL) and water (80 mL). The aqueous layer was extracted with ether twice. The combined extracts were washed with water (×3), brine and dried over Na2SO4. Evaporation of solvent gave crude product.
