Procedimiento

Compound 55 is prepared from 8 (0.56 g, 1.94 mmol) and 2-phenyl benzyl magnesium bromide solution (0.25 M solution in diethyl ether, 9.31 mL, 2,33 mmol, 1.2 eq) following General Procedure 2. 2-Phenylbenzyl magnesium bromide is prepared from commercially available (Aldrich) 2-phenylbenzyl bromide following General Procedure 5. Further 2-phenyl benzyl magnesium bromide solution (1 mL) is added and the reaction left under stirring overnight. Purification by ion exchange chromatography gives 55 as an off-white foam-like solid (0.37 g, 68%). MW 457.62; C30H35NO3; LCMS. (6 minute method): m/z 458 [M+H]+, RT 3.58 min.
