Procedimiento
To a solution of 4-[2-(4-benzyloxy-phenyl)-ethyl]-4-hydroxymethyl-2,2-dimethyl-oxazolidine-3-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (25 mg, 0.05 mmol) in methanol (10 ml) is added a catalytic amount of paladium on charcoal (10% wt). The reaction mixture is stirred under H2 atmosphere at room temperature for 2 hours. 4-Hydroxymethyl-4-[2-(4-hydroxy-phenyl)-ethyl]-2,2-dimethyl-oxazolidine-3-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester is isolated as a white solid after filtration of the suspension through celite and concentration to dryness.
