Procedimiento

To a solution of 700 mg of potassium fluoride and 200 mg 18-crown-6 in 10 mL of DMF was added 5-Chloro-2-(2-fluorophenyl)-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-imidazo[1,2-c]-quinazoline (200 mg). This mixture was refluxed for 1.5 h, cooled to room temperature and poured into water. The aqueous solution was extracted with ethyl acetate, the organic layer was separated and dried, and the solvent removed m vacuo to yield 5-Fluoro-2-(2-fluorophenyl)-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-imidazo[1,2-c]-quinazoline (Compound 41), m.p. 154°-155° C.
