Procedimiento
16.2 g of 2,3-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-7-hydroxy-4H-1,3-benzoxazin-4-one are reacted analogously to Example (3a) with 84 ml of 1,2-dibromoethane and yield 2,3-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-7-(2-bromoethoxy)-4H-1,3-benzoxazin-4-one having a melting point of 156°-158° (from isopropanol).
