Procedimiento

The intermediate (50 mg, 0.063 mmol) from Step 3(B) was dissolved in 15 mL of 1,2-dichloroethane, followed by the addition of Grubbs Catalyst 2nd Generation (17 mg, 0.020 mmol) with 1 mL of 1,2-dichloroethane. The resulted reaction mixture was stirred at 40° C. for 2 hrs. Solvent was evaporated in vacuo to give a crude product, which was purified by flash chromatography (15% EtOAc/DCM) to give two compounds, 11 mg of cis-3C (Rf 0.47) and 23 mg of trans-3C (Rf 0.28).
