Procedimiento

A solution of product from Example 20 in ethyl alcohol is stirred at room temperature for 20 hours with an excess of methoxyethylamine. The reaction mixture is evaporated in vacuo and combined with a sodium carbonate solution and diethyl ether. The layers are separated and the diethyl ether layer is dried over sodium sulfate and filtered. Gaseous hydrogen chloride is bubbled into the filtered diethyl ether solution and the desired product is collected.
