Procedimiento

[1-(5-Cyanothiophene3-ylmethyl)-2-oxo-pyrrolidin-3-(S)-yl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (4.0 g, 13.8 mmol) is added to a solution of 100 mL of EtOAc saturated with HCl gas at 0° C. After 3 h, the solution is concentrated. The title compound (3.3 g, 13.5 mmol) is obtained as a white solid.
