Acetic acid {3-[3-(acetyl-{3,5-bis-[(2,2-dimethyl-[1,3]dioxolan-4-ylmethyl)-carbamoyl]-2,4,6-triiodo-phenyl}-amino)-2-hydroxy-propylcarbamoyl]-5-[(2,2-dimethyl-[1,3]dioxolan-4-ylmethyl)-carbamoyl]-2,4,6-triiodo-phenylcarbamoyl}-methyl ester (1.2 g, 725 μmol) was refluxed in MeOH/2M HCl (1:1, 5 mL:5 mL) for 1 hour. The reaction was then concentrated to dryness and the crude material purified by R-HPLC to give the desired product.
