Procedimiento

243.7 Grams (0.55 mol) of BOC-Arg-CHA.HCl was dissolved in 1,093 ml of 2N-HCl/AcOH and a small quantity of MeOH, and the mixture was reacted at room temperature for 1 hour. After the reaction was completed, to the reaction mixture was added with 1,093 ml of isopropanol and reprecipitated in AcOEt. The crystals precipitated were collected by filtration and dried to obtain 156.2 g (74.3%) of H-Arg-CHA.2HCl. Rf3 =0.15. Melting point: 240.5° C. (decomposed). [α]D20 +53.5 (C=1, H2O)
