As described for example 12, 6-(5-methyl-3-phenyl-isoxazol-4-ylmethoxy)-nicotinic acid (200 mg, 0.64 mmol) was converted using 4-aminotetrahydropyran instead of 2,2,2-trifluoroethylamine to the title compound (SiO2, heptane:ethyl acetate=80:20 to 20:80, 231 mg, 91%) which was obtained as a white solid. MS: m/e=394.1 [M+H]+.
