Mesylate (205) prepared as described in example 174 (70 mg, 0.16 mmol) was reacted with aqueous dimethylamine solution according to the procedure described in example 179 to give amine (209) (30 mg, 48%) as a yellow powder, mp 283–286° C. 1H NMR δ [(CD3)2SO] 11.05 (br s, 1H), 9.33 (s, 1H), 8.41 (d, J=2.4 Hz, 1H), 7.77 (s, 1H), 7.65 (m, 2H), 7.54 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 7.46 (m, 3H), 7.12 (dd, J=8.8, 2.4 Hz, 1H), 4.55 (t, J=6.5 Hz, 2H), 2.62 (t, J=6.5 Hz, 2H), 2.19 (s, 6H). Found: C, 71.92; H, 5.16; N, 10.55. C24H21N3O3 requires: C, 72.17; H, 5.30; N, 10.52.
