Procedure

Coupling of 2,4-bis-benzyloxy-5-isopropenyl-benzoic acid (5.0 g, 13.4 mmol) (Preparation B9) and 5-bromo-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindole (Preparation C20) was completed according to method A4, using CH2Cl2 as the reaction solvent to give the title compound (8.34 g) as a beige solid.
