Procedure

A mixture of 2-(2-bromo-1-methyl-4-phenyl-1H-imidazol-5-yl)[1,3]thiazolo[5,4-d]pyrimidin-7-amine (Example 26) (0.02 g), PdCl2dppf (3.5 mg), triethylamine (0.1 mL), DMF (5 mL), copper(I) iodide (1 mg) and 1-ethynylcyclohexylamine (0.034 mL) was heated at 90° C., under an inert atmosphere, for 1.5 hours. The solvent was evaporated in vacuo then purification by flash chromatography on silica eluting with DCM:MeOH (9:1) gave the title compound as a beige solid (9 mg, 41%).
