Procedure

The (1R*,2S*)-2-(1H-pyrazol-4-yl)cyclohexanol prepared in Example 169a was optically resolved with CHIRALPAK AD-H (Daicel Corp.; hexane/ethanol=8:2) to yield the title compound as a colorless solid.
