Procedure

Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) was prepared by dissolving sodium chloride (0.14M), potassium chloride (2.7 mM), and dibasic sodium phosphate (6.5 mM) in purified water The pH of the solution was adjusted to 7.4±0.2 with concentrated sodium hydroxide.
