Procedure

The title compound was prepared following the procedure described in Step 3 using 3e and phenyl hydrazine. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ (ppm): 3.86 (3H, s), 7.10 (3H, m), 7.38 (2H, dd, J=8.24, 7.42 Hz), 8.09 (3H, m), 8.65 (1H, d, J=6.04 Hz). m/z 292.3 (MH+).
